How a memory becomes a level

You remember. I build. They play.

“Our first date on Brighton Pier, and a seagull stole the chips.”
1 · You share a memory

2 · It becomes a story card
The couple walking along the seafront in the game, collecting memories
3 · And a level they play
Where it started

Ten games, one for every year of my twins’ lives.

I’m Serap, a mum and engineer in London. Each birthday I turned the boys’ year into a game, and the look on their faces when they found their own memories inside it is the whole reason mémoire art exists. Now I also turn voices into art, so you can keep the sound of someone you love on your wall.

For any moment worth remembering

Questions

How do I order?

All orders go through my Etsy shop, so checkout is secure and familiar. After you order a game, I’ll send you a short memory form through Etsy Messages; for voice art, you send a voice note.

What do you need from me?

The name of the person (or people), 3–10 memories with rough dates and places, and a few things they love. Photos help me design the characters but aren’t required.

How do they play it?

You receive a private link to your game: it plays in Safari or Chrome on any iPhone, Android phone, tablet or computer, and it’s easy to text to the person it’s for. Your download also includes the game file as an offline copy for computers. No app or account needed.

How long does it take?

Usually 2–3 days after your memories are in. You’ll see a preview and can ask for changes to names, wording or details before the final version.

Is it only for children?

Not at all. I make games for partners, parents, friends, colleagues and grandparents: anniversaries, milestone birthdays, new babies, leaving gifts and Christmas.

How does voice art work?

After you order, send a voice note through Etsy Messages. A WhatsApp or phone recording is perfect: up to 2 minutes and up to 6 voices. I turn it into a print, send you a preview, and deliver high-resolution PDF and PNG files.

How do I print my voice art?

The files are sized for 8×10 in, 16×20 in, 40×50 cm, A4, A3 and A2. Print at home, at a local print shop or online. Nothing is posted.

What happens to my memories, photos and recordings?

They’re used only to make your order. I never share them, and I won’t show your game or print anywhere without asking you first.

Make something they’ll keep

Ready in 2–3 days. Preview before it’s final. Yours to keep, forever.
